Is it possible that the Capitalism would destroy itself?

Let’s assume that in the future we will create highly advanced robots that would be capable to do humans work, like for example in factories. Obviously the capitalist with his eager for more profit would prefer to invest in these robots than keep giving out wages every week to let’s say 10,000 workers, which by the way we haven’t mentioned would need sick leave, maternity leave, leave, break etc. Which a robot definitely wouldn’t need these needs. But what would happen when the majority of the capitalists invest in these robots and millions of workers end up unemployed? Obviously the capitalists wouldn’t sell their products because the unemployed workers wouldn’t have the money to buy the capitalists products! In this scenario, yes, the capitalism can destroy it self…

it's very far fetched to conclude that all types of work humans do can be done by a robot!

Outsourcing represents the new way of doing business. The main reason for this trend is lower overhead costs. Lower overhead costs for the retailer means a greater ability to withstand shocks in the economy. It can also boost the companys competitive advantage and have a positive impact on their brand image.
