From where it all began?

I’m not a religious person, and I am skeptic about the existence of a spiritual supreme creator. But I find it difficult to understand from where it all began. One can say that all began from the so called big bang, but from where did the big bang come from? On the same argument, if there is a spiritual supreme creator from where did he/she come from? We’re living in a material universe, with a material conciseness, and with our material brain, we understand the laws of our material existence, the physical laws. One of the basic laws of our material existence is that: Nothing came from nothing. But we can’t pretend that our physical laws apply to a non-material reality as well. If there is a spiritual supreme creator he/she is the creator of our material reality and our physical laws, he/she is above our physical laws and outside our material reality, so, the question ‘if there is a supreme creator, from where did he/she come from’ doesn’t make so much sense. Because if there is a supreme creator, he/she doesn’t belong to our physical laws, because he/she created them, and he/she is above them. Finally, I think that we are too primitive to answer the question, ‘from where it all began’, as the early humans that lived in caves were too primitive to go to the moon!!!

Hi Glenn! Some months ago I came across this wonderful documentary: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhkaRW37jwI That's just the first part, there are about nine that you can find on you tube.

Look how it starts: "Every story has a beginning, even the story of the Universe..."

I think you're assuming that it all began somewhere, when all the evidence is showing that everything, matter at least, never had a point of creation, but in some form or other always existed. Creation, so to speak, was an ordering of something that was already there, of something eternal.
